About Seagull Guitars:

This is a blog dedicated to Seagull guitars. The Seagull guitar, a brand name of Godin, has been produced in the small village of LaPatrie, in the Eastern Townships of Quebec, for over a a quarter of a century.

In fact. the company has a number of factories spread through out Canada which they say promotes "a more intimate working environment which gets everybody more involved and this is reflected in the instruments themselves."

The Godin company was started by Robert Godin and are also known for a number of other guitar brands including Simon & Patrick, Norman, LaPatrie and Art & Lutherie.
